Reference and Referral Service

Library provides reference and referral service to its users. The staffs of the library answer all of the patron’s queries and help them navigate the facility. If any information source is not available in the library, users are directed to another library where the source is available.

OPAC/WEBOPAC

The OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) provide facilities to the users to search the library catalogue online. Catalogue is list of library holdings. Users can search the documents by Title, Author, Subject, ISBN, Series and Call number. Through WEBOPAC users can search the library catalogue remotely.

CAS (Current Awareness Service)

The library helps patrons stay current with the most recent information by offering a current awareness service. In this regard, the library gives them access to the most recent newspapers, periodicals, general knowledge books, and books for competitive exams. Additionally, new arrivals also displayed for the users

Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI)

When a user has a specific request for information, the library provides selective information to that user.

Dr. S.R. Ranganathan Digital Library

In the reading room and faculty lounge desktops with internet facility are available on which faculty and students can access e-resources and other information as per requirement.

E-resources (Jaypee Digital, PDF drive)

The library gives access to e-resources of Jaypee Digital. These resources can be accessed remotely via login ID and password.

Reading Room (Students)

The students can avail reading room facility in the college library.

New Arrival Section

The students can avail New Arrival (Journal & Books) Section facility in the college library.

Reading Section

The students can avail Reading Section facility in the college library.

User Awareness and Orientation Program

To increase the awareness among faculty, students and staff about the use of the library and its services, the library organizes an awareness and orientation program timely.
