World Breastfeeding Week 2025

MKSSS’s Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women celebrated World Breastfeeding Week on the theme “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.”
The week included expert talks, community & hospital health education, skill stations, and inter-collegiate competitions. The event concluded with a valedictory and prize distribution, under the guidance of Dr. Rupa Ashok Verma, Principal.
Midwifery Day on 5th May 2025
MKSSS Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women, Nagpur, celebrated International Midwifery Day on 5th May 2025 with the theme "Midwives: Critical in Every Crisis," introduced by Ms. Ankita Mhaske. Guest Speaker Ms. Meena Khalatkar delivered an insightful session on managing normal and high-risk pregnancies. A poster competition followed, with Ms. Alfiya Ansari (1st Year P.B.B.Sc.) winning first prize. Students from B.Sc. (6th Sem) and P.B.B.Sc. (1st Year) actively participated. The event was guided by Prof. Dr. Rupa Verma andMs. Priyanka Kosare (HOD of OBGY Department)
