Welcome to the Department of Child Health Nursing.
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to our department, where we are committed to nurturing competent, compassionate, and dedicated nursing professionals specialized in pediatric healthcare. Child Health Nursing is a unique and rewarding specialty that focuses on the holistic care of infants, children, and adolescents while promoting their physical, emotional, social, and developmental well-being.
Our department strives to provide high-quality nursing education through innovative teaching methods, advanced clinical training, simulation-based learning, and evidence-based nursing practices. We believe that every child deserves specialized, compassionate, and family-centered care, and we prepare our students to meet these healthcare needs with confidence and professionalism.
The department offers excellent learning opportunities through clinical exposure in pediatric wards, neonatal intensive care units (NICU), pediatric intensive care units (PICU), immunization clinics, and community healthcare settings. With the guidance of experienced faculty members and modern teaching facilities, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking, leadership qualities, communication skills, and ethical values essential for professional nursing practice.
We also motivate students to actively participate in seminars, workshops, research activities, health awareness programs, and continuing nursing education initiatives to enhance their academic and professional growth.
Our goal is to prepare skilled pediatric nursing professionals who can contribute effectively to child healthcare services at regional, national, and global levels.
I warmly welcome all aspiring nursing students to the Department of Child Health Nursing and wish them success in their journey toward becoming compassionate caregivers and future healthcare leaders.
“Every Child Deserves Care, Compassion, and a Healthy Future.”
