B.Sc Nursing
Course Outcomes (CO): Undergraduates of B.Sc Nursing in Midwifery/ Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing will be able to provide comprehensive and holistic care to women during antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal periods. They will develop competency in conducting normal deliveries, assisting in obstetric procedures, and providing immediate newborn care. Students will be able to identify high-risk pregnancies and complications, initiate timely interventions, and refer appropriately. They will also gain skills in educating women and families regarding reproductive health, family planning, and maternal-child health services while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
Program Outcomes (PO): The B.Sc Nursing program prepares graduates to deliver safe, competent, and evidence-based nursing care in various healthcare settings. undergraduates will demonstrate effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in clinical practice. They will uphold ethical, legal, and professional values while working collaboratively within the healthcare team. The program also instills a sense of responsibility towards community health and encourages lifelong learning and professional development.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
Course Outcomes (CO): Post Basic B.Sc Nursing undergraduates will enhance their existing knowledge and skills to provide advanced nursing care in obstetrics and gynecology. They will be able to manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, complications during labor, and postpartum conditions with greater competence. They will demonstrate leadership in clinical settings, participate in health education, and contribute to improving maternal and child health services. The course also enables them to integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical practice effectively.
Program Outcomes (PO): The Post Basic B.Sc Nursing program prepares registered nurses to upgrade their professional competencies and assume greater responsibilities in patient care and management. Graduates will exhibit leadership, supervisory, and decision-making skills in clinical and community settings. They will contribute to quality improvement in healthcare services and actively participate in health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education activities.
M.Sc Nursing (OBG Specialty)
Course Outcomes (CO): M.Sc Nursing postgraduates specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing will acquire advanced clinical expertise in managing complex and high-risk obstetric and gynecological conditions. They will be capable of providing specialized care in areas such as maternal intensive care, neonatal care, and reproductive health. Graduates will develop proficiency in teaching, supervising, and evaluating nursing students and staff. They will also gain skills in conducting research, applying evidence-based practices, and contributing to advancements in maternal healthcare.
Program Outcomes (PO): The M.Sc Nursing program prepares postgraduates to function as advanced practitioners, educators, researchers, and administrators in nursing. They will demonstrate high-level critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and leadership abilities. Graduates will contribute to the development of nursing education and practice through research and innovation.
