INTRODUCTION

          The Research Work in Progress at MKSSS’s Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women, Nagpur reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, scientific inquiry, and evidence-based nursing practice. The college actively promotes continuous research activities among faculty members, postgraduate scholars, and undergraduate students to address emerging challenges in nursing education, clinical practice, and community healthcare. 

               At present, the institution is engaged in various ongoing research projects, dissertations, thesis work, and field-based studies focusing on significant areas of nursing and health sciences. These studies are being carried out in specialties such as:

To ensure the scientific validity and integrity of all ongoing studies. The college’s Institutional Ethical Committee further supports research by ensuring ethical compliance and participant safety. 

                 Several research initiatives are also directed toward community-based healthcare problems, including awareness programmes, surveys, and health education interventions conducted in urban and rural settings. These studies aim to generate practical solutions that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. 

                Through its research work in progress, the college continues to strengthen its role in developing skilled nurse researchers, academicians, and healthcare professionals who contribute to the advancement of nursing science and the betterment of society.
