Course Outcomes (COs) – Community Health Nursing

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Assess the health needs of individuals, families, and communities through surveys and home visits. 

  2. Plan, implement, and evaluate community-based healthcare services. 

  3. Provide preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative care in community settings. 

  4. Deliver maternal and child health services, immunization, and basic healthcare interventions. 

  5. Conduct health education and awareness programs for disease prevention and health promotion. 

  6. Participate in national health programs and community outreach activities. 

  7. Apply principles of epidemiology, environmental sanitation, and nutrition in community health practice. 

  8. Demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and teamwork in community settings. 

  9. Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based approaches in solving community health problems. 

  10. Exhibit professional ethics and responsibility while providing community healthcare services.
