The Conferences and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) at MKSSS’s Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women, Nagpur play a vital role in promoting academic excellence, professional competency, research culture, and continuous learning among faculty members, students, and healthcare professionals.
The institution regularly organizes national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, continuing nursing education (CNE) programmes, and faculty development programmes to strengthen knowledge, clinical expertise, leadership skills, and research competencies in the field of nursing and healthcare sciences. The college also emphasizes regular workshops and seminars as part of its academic depth and student development initiatives.

The institution has successfully organized important FDPs, including a three-day Faculty Development Programme on Universal Human Values, conducted in collaboration with AICTE and NCCIP, aimed at strengthening professional ethics, communication, self-awareness, and human values among faculty and staff.
Recently, the college also organized its first two-day International Conference on “Advanced Competency in Emergency Nursing: Saving Lives, Building Systems”, sponsored by MUHS, Nashik, with participation from nursing colleges, hospitals, and healthcare institutions in hybrid mode.
